Located at 59 Pond St, Ashland, MA, SPICE KITCHEN is making waves as a standout North Indian restaurant. Diners rave about the exquisite blending of flavors, making every visit a delightful culinary adventure. Jack Chase describes the food as a surprising mix of spicy, savory, and sweet, highlighting the flawless service that complements the experience. The garlic naan, praised by Shane Jinson, is light and crunchy, making it the perfect companion to the mildly spiced aloo gobi served with basmati rice.
Customers are particularly impressed with the quality of dishes like Amritsari kulcha and butter chicken. Katherine Russell notably appreciates the tender lamb balti, free of grisly bits—a rarity that elevates the dining experience. For an appetizer, Nupur Nimbekar recommends the gobi Manchurian, describing it as transformative, almost like a "party in your mouth." Despite minor critiques about the decor's LED lighting, patrons overwhelmingly agree on one thing: SPICE KITCHEN is an exceptional choice for Indian cuisine in the area, promising to keep guests returning for more flavorful delights. This restaurant is not merely a meal; it's an experience that enchants food lovers with each bite.

An incredible experience! I wish more people knew how great this place is. The food surprised us with its careful blend of spicy, savory, and sweet flavors. We gapsed at every new dish! The service was flawless. I wish the lights were a bit less flashy, but I could never give anything less than five stars for such a culinary delight.

It was delicious. The garlic naan is light and satisfying with crispy bits that are phenomenal. Had the aloo gobi with basmati rice. The rice was mildly spiced. Food is skillfully prepared. It is the best in the area for Indian. There are no dosas on the current menu however.

I tried the Amritsari kulcha and chane. Both were really good. I’ve also tried the butter chicken, pav bhaji, and paneer tikka masala. Food quality has definitely improved. Will be a repeat customer :)

Delicious! We’re delighted to have such good quality Indian in our metro west neighborhood. The lamb balti had no grisly bits which is a rarity with lamb and the heat level was exactly what we’d expected. Naan was perfect. We will definitely order again and again! Thank you!

The food was so mind-blowing it should probably come with a warning label! This place is hands-down one of the best Indian restaurants in Massachusetts. I found myself in a food trance, unable to stop eating. If you're looking for a starter, the gobi Manchurian is a must-try—trust me, it’s like a party in your mouth! The staff? They’re quicker than a cheetah on roller skates! Service is not just swift; it’s also considerate, making you feel like royalty while you feast. The only downside? Those LED strips decorating the dining area. They were a bit too disco for my taste, but honestly, once the food hit the table, I was too busy diving into deliciousness to care. This is officially MY go-to spot for Indian cuisine from now on!

Spice Kitchen is recent restaurant in area. I love north India food here. Chef seems to be Punjabi as food here is of most authentic punabi style. I like most of their items and must try items are chicken lollipop, butter chicken, Malai chicken, chicken curry, Chole curry with amritsar kulcha. Very well Maintained and service is very good. Recommend to increase the portions. Weekend buffet is wroth every and highly recommended to try.

I know spice kitchen started anew, but the Chicken 65, chat and Goat Biriyani we had was just sumptuous and exemplary. Top notch. I hope this joint maintains the quality, if so this place will be the most talked restaurant for years to come. Best wishes

The food here is absolutely delicious! It’s the real deal, with perfect spices and a delightful taste. Every dish, whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian, is simply amazing. If you live nearby, you absolutely must try this place. I’m certain you’ll be thoroughly impressed. The samosa and paneer pakora were awesome.
